  'Moonriver' 1986 Davidson Boats 40' semi-trad - lying Penkridge Moonriver is a 40’ semi trad, all steel narrowboat built in 1986 by Davidson and powered by a BMC 1.5. She has a traditional layout, with a fixed double berth in the rear bedroom followed by bathroom with cassette toilet, shower and hand basin. The galley is next with saloon at the bow. Moonriver is extremely well equipped, she features a 700W solar panel system with mppt controller, 3 x AGM 110Amp leisure batteries fitted in June last year and a 1600W Sterling inverter/charger. She is powered by a Vetus M4.14 keel cooled Diesel engine with Hurth gearbox. Work is required to the hull and this has been reflected in the price. Entering the boat from the stern from the large cruiser deck, the first room is the bedroom which features 2 fixed single bunks. The top bunk can be folded up and it wouldn’t be impossible to fit a fixed double berth if preferred.
