 'Foxy Doxy' – 2016 Burscough 70’ Trad £124,950

Foxy Doxy is a 70’ trad style narrowboat built in 2016 by Burscough Boats.  This vessel is an absolutely perfect family liveaboard with a huge specification, 2 bedrooms and 2 WC’s.  Boats like this rarely come to the market so here is an opportunity to beat the new build queues and get a boat that would cost considerably more to have built from scratch.  Although a landline connection is present, she is well equipped for ‘off-grid’ living.
The steelwork is to 12,6,5,4 spec.  She was re-blacked and had replacement anodes in 2020 and the BSC is until 2024.
At the bow, Foxy Doxy has a good sized well deck with cratch and cover.  Entering through the front doors, the saloon is first, which features a sofa, solid fuel stove, built in stereo and 32” T.V inside a built-in display cabinet offering a good amount of storage.  This open saloon flows into a dinette with ‘L’ shaped seating which can convert to a double berth.
Moving aft to the galley, here you will find a gas oven, grill and 4 burner hob, built in freezer and fridge and plenty of storage in low and overhead cupboards.  The galley features a Houdini hatch with wood cover.
A twin berth bedroom is next with single berths on either side of the boat and each with their own wardrobe, underbed and overhead storage as well as a built in stereo.
This leads on to the main bathroom with quadrant shower, ceramic swivel cassette toilet, heated towel rail and again a large amount of storage space.
At the stern is the master bedroom with cross double, wardrobes, underbed and overhead storage and built in stereo.  Adjacent to the master bedroom is a utility room which features a 2nd cassette toilet, washing machine and handbasin.
Propulsion is provided by a 52hp Vetus M4.56 with PRM150 gearbox.
240V power is available through either landline, inverter or an 8Kva Fischer Panda generator.
Heating is provided by an Alde central heating system or solid fuel stove located in the saloon.
Other features include bow thruster, satellite dish, alternator booster and solar panels.
Lining throughout is in American light oak.

1993 Harborough Marine 56’ Project Cruiser Stern Narrowboat - £19,950 – Barbridge This is a 56’, all steel, cruiser stern narrowboat built which we believe to have been built in 1993 by Harborough Marine.  Propulsion is provided by a 42hp Isuzu Diesel engine with PRM260 gearbox and twin alternators.
